Jesus Answers Prayers

 Almost all of you know I have a pony. Well she’s to small for me and has been for months. Horses are all the world to me, I love horses and they are really all I’m interested in. A few months went by, and I was missing riding VERY much!!!! For some reason I felt empty without a horse to ride. So I decided that I would pray for a horse. Just like Jesus had sent me my pony Lila and knew if it was His will He could send me a horse. I prayed and prayed, and more months went by. I looked and looked for a horse but all the ones I found where way over my price rang. More months went by and I was starting to get frustrate,  discouraged and think that maybe Jesus didn’t want me to have a horse.

    One day I was looking on the newspaper online at the horses for sale. When an ad caught my eye. The ad said: “Standardbred Mare. 9 years old. Well broken. Great around kids and animals. $250.00 call……..” “250.00 is defiantly in my price rang.”

 I thought. I decided I would just call and see what the horse was like. So I called and we set up a time to go see it. Sunday August  19, 2012. Sunday morning the owner was suppose to call us and tell us where to meet him so we could follow him to where the horse was. He was suppose to call from 9 to 10:00AM Sunday morning. I got up at 7:30AM had breakfast and waited for the call. “9 o’clock he should call any time now”. Than 9:30 came but no phone call. 9:50 and still no phone call. By now I was thinking maybe I misunderstood him and I was suppose to call him. So I tried calling but no one picked up. I waited and waited. “Maybe he forgot to write down my number and doesn't have it” I was getting very worried that he wouldn't call. Than 10:00 came AND THE phone rain. As I went to pick up the phone I gave a sigh of relief. As I sat in the going to see Angel (the horse). I realized what I had done, I felt terrible that I had not trusted Jesus.  As I sat there I said a silent prayer and asked Jesus to forgive me.

  By than we where there. As I saw Angel in the field I was filed to over flowing with joy. She was just how I thought her to be. BEAUTIFUL!!! I loved her right away! And when I rode her I loved her even more!!! She was like the kind of horse I’ve always wanted!! She had the nicest gait a horse could ever have!!!! When she ran she tucked her head under, and lifted her hoofs high. 

  To my GREAT delight my parents agreed that I could buy her.Sunday, August 20 we brought her home. Her name is now Minnesota Angle. She’s the best horse Jesus could ever give me!! Never give up!! Jesus does answer prayers, it may not be in the way you want it but in the way he deems best!! Trust in the Lord and He will supply all your needs!! Just like I prayed for a horse and Jesus answered my prayer and gave me Minnesota He can answer your prayer it may not be for a horse but whatever it is Jesus hears you and will answer your prayer in the way He sees best!
